🔒 Google API User Data Policy & Limited Use Disclosure

Hashim Drive Uploader's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We only access user Google Drive files upon direct user request to perform cloning, watermark management, or folder scanning.
• We do not transfer or disclose user data to third parties, advertising platforms, or data brokers.
• We do not use or transfer Google user data for serving advertisements, retargeting, or personalized advertising.
• Human employees cannot read your Google Drive files unless you explicitly authorize us to resolve an urgent technical error.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect:

  • Your basic Google profile information (Name, Email address, Profile photo).
  • OAuth tokens required to perform user-requested Drive operations (copying files, pre-clone scanning, and branding uploads).
  • Transfer log metadata (folder name, size, files count, duration) to render your Dashboard transfer history.

2. How We Use Google Drive Permissions

Hashim Drive Uploader requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive permission solely to execute actions that you explicitly initiate from the Command Center, including:

  • Cloning shared Google Drive folders into your target Google Drive server-to-server.
  • Scanning subfolder hierarchies for repeating duplicate file names and competitor promo links.
  • Uploading your designated watermark or branding documents into selected folders.
  • Deleting duplicate or competitor watermark files that you explicitly confirm for removal.

3. No File Storage or Selling of Personal Data

We do NOT store your Google Drive files on external third-party hard drives. All data transfers take place directly within Google's cloud infrastructure. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or Google Drive files to advertisers or third parties.

4. Data Security

All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). Access tokens are stored securely in protected databases with restricted access.

5. Revoking Access

You can disconnect your Google Drive at any time from the Dashboard or by visiting your Google Account Security Settings.
